Lee Reynolds - The Residence Collection

“Hi, I’m Lee Reynolds from The Residence Collection, I love football, golf and have a little boy called Charlie who keeps me busy on my off days.

I have been in the window industry for over 25 years and have been involved with The Residence Collection for nearly 10 years.
I have watched it grow into one of the best timber alternative window options on the market today.
Did you know our uPVC windows and doors can be fully recycled up to 10 times and that our windows can also contribute to lower energy bills and carbon emissions due to its outstanding thermal performances and are available in a fantastic array of colourways.
The Residence Collection offer a suite of premium timber alternative flush windows, that have been specifically designed to replicate 19th Century timber windows but with all the modern benefits of UPVC, offering superior thermal, acoustic, security performance and with minimal upkeep.

Kettell Installation Team

Unlike the majority of the industry, here at Kettell Windows we have chosen to employ almost all our fitters & use a select few, highly skilled self-employed contractors. This ensures that our team members can take sufficient time to complete our customers' installations from start to finish & also continually improve skill levels across the profiles & brands we choose. This in turn has meant that many of our team have been with us for many years. All the team bring a wealth of experience & skills, from stained glass work to plastering. We are biased, but believe we have the best fitters in Leicestershire.

A member of the team will be available each day of the event to answer any questions on how they work & we are working on showcasing how the team trim & finish the windows and doors.

Ben Ayton - Kettell

Ben recently celebrated his 1 year work anniversary with Kettell, but the way he has fitted into the team it feels like he has always been with us. He genuinely holds the same values as we do at Kettell: No pressure sales, expert knowledge & a desire to deliver what you the homeowner really want. Even if that is 13 versions of a Front Door (although please try to be a bit more decisive). 

"My favourite product is our timber alternative range of Flush windows. They are a great example of how far the industry has come and it’s always nice to see the look on customers faces who have perhaps been putting off replacing their original timber windows for fear of not being able to find a suitable/sympathetic replacement, when they see them for the first time and realise just how authentic looking they really are!"

He also adds:

"My favourite thing about the job is getting to meet so many different people and giving them the information and advice needed to help transform their home. Hearing from a happy customer and seeing the finished result at the end of the process is the most satisfying part of the job."

Ben's Top Tips when considering Door & Window replacement are:

1. Establish your priorities and what is most important to you and shape your decision making around these choices; Is it Energy Efficiency, Security, Aesthetics, Noise reduction or allowing more light into your home?

2. What style of window/door best suits your house? Choosing the right material and design is key to the overall look of your house.

3. What materials best suit your budget and lifestyle? Some materials and window types are obviously more expensive than others. Design is a major contributing factor to the overall cost of your windows and doors so it’s important to consider style versus practicality and what will best suit the look of your house and your needs as the homeowner. Finding a balance between style and substance is the ideal.

4. You don’t always need to make drastic alterations to get the result you’re looking for! Sometimes the smallest changes can make a big difference to the overall appearance of your house.

"Our last event was a great success, there was a real buzz around the showroom and so I am looking forward to this one & showcasing the new products we have on display.
I genuinely care about trying to achieve the best result possible for each and every customer whether it’s one solitary window being replaced or a full house. Frances Hunt - Garden & Planting Design

Frances lives in the Charnwood area with her young family. With a passion for natural materials, a self confessed plant geek, and a true advocate for saying ‘No’ to plastic grass and plants, she has been designing gardens in Leicestershire, Rutland, Nottinghamshire, and Derbyshire for over 15 years.
Working closely with landscapers on the ground, she prides herself on not only producing design led solutions for gardens, but also resolving practical issues that sites may have, for example level changes or new extensions that need to be accommodated.
Frances has experience of both new build and period homes, and can even design gardens from plan when the homes are yet to be built!

Fran will be with us for the Friday only as she is away celebrating her Birthday! But Fran will have a space at the event to showcase her designs & ways of working. We will also be carrying out a Q&A session prior to the weekend, so keep an eye out on our socials for further details.
