John Kettell - Director
Weekends & school holidays were spent with my father helping install windows & conservatories, so I have literally grown up in the industry. From leaving school, I spent a short time in the chemical distribution industry, however after John Snr moved to a toughened glass factory he needed a right hand man on the inside whilst he was out selling & so I made the official leap into the industry.
I specialise in the design & ordering of the products, having over 20 years experience. I am fastidious on compliance as well as ensuring the design and styles are as sympathetic to a property as possible or match the customers brief as closely as possible. I love the product & innovations that move the sector forward. I feel a great sense of pride as I drive around Leicestershire spotting our windows & doors with my young children. My daughter would like me to develop a pink door, so any brave customers out there, please get in touch!
Lisa Kettell – Sales & Marketing Director
I officially joined the business in May 2018 following a 15yr career in Retail Buying, but really I have been involved since the businesses creation, meeting John, my now husband, shortly after it was founded. My passion lies in creating a great customer experience & ensuring we strive to be the best installer across Leicestershire. I do love numbers & data too, but there is so much variety and scope to my role that I have definitely hit the ground running!
Fitting Team
Unlike the majority of the industry, here at Kettell Windows we have chosen to employ almost all our fitters & use a select few, highly skilled self-employed contractors. This ensures that our team members can take sufficient time to complete our customers' installations from start to finish & also continually improve skill levels across the profiles & brands we choose. This in turn has meant that many of our team have been with us for many years. All the team bring a wealth of experience & skills, from stained glass work to plastering. We are biased, but believe we have the best fitters in Leicestershire.
Ben - Sales Representative
After reluctantly accepting that my dreams of becoming an international rock star were unlikely to come to fruition, I was introduced to the window industry by a girlfriend at the times dad who got me a foot in the door at the company he worked for. The relationship didn’t last but my love for all things windows and doors is still going strong some 20 plus years later.
My favourite part of the job is getting to meet so many different people and using my knowledge and experience to help them achieve their home improvement goals!
Away from work I enjoy following Leicester City and even though my body tells me otherwise, I like to play football and badminton.
Jo - Office Manager
I’m Jo & I joined Kettell in November 2022 after working as a self-employed bookkeeper & office manager for a construction company. I love process & automation & making the customer journey as seamless as possible. I also love seeing all the great reviews come through from happy customers.
Away from work I like spending time with my family and walking the dogs!!
I have 2 grown up children, a fox red Labrador called Lexi, a pug cross, Lola and 2 cats: Grace & Gino.
I enjoy going out for meals (and drinking lol) and for exercise I enjoy Yoga and going on my Peloton!

Andy joined the order processing team in 2021 to support John Junior in offering fast & accurate ordering. Andy is a keen amateur photographer so you might spot him out on some post install photo shoots!
Winnie – Customer Welcomer
Winnie is an integral part of the business. Now 12yrs old she has been coming to work everyday from a pup & when she isn’t in the office it just doesn’t feel the same. Most days you will find her curled up in her bed, dodging samples & parcel arrivals. When customers come to visit our showroom she is always keen to make herself known, especially if you would like to give her a treat!! Winnie is also good for the soul, as she provides a reason to leave the desk & get out in the fresh air & onto the lovely park here in East Goscote where we all meet lovely 2 legged & 4 legged friends.
