The FIT Show is the perfect platform for door and window companies to showcase their newest and most innovative products. As the UK’s number one exhibition dedicated to the window, door, hardware, and flat glass industry, it’s the go-to event for businesses like our’s looking to expand their product line and capture the attention of both trade professionals and consumers alike. We were incredibly excited to see some of the latest product innovations and thought we’d share our TOP 5 with you here:
1. Introducing the NEW Comp Door discovery range.
The brand-new, ultra-modern discovery range features 3 stunning Composite Door designs, Halo, Atlas, and the Shard and they’re available in 4 incredible colours: – Hickory, Fossil, White Oak and Foiled White.

The designs are contemporary and will really create a statement and if you're not a fan of the heavy grain effect found on most Composite Doors then these doors are the answer with their smooth skin!
We have been lucky enough to secure the FIT Show display samples for our own Kettell Showroom, so look out for them being installed soon!
2. Dekko's smooth style black UPVC profile.
Dekko’s infinity windows are high-performing in terms of security, energy efficiency and aesthetic appeal. They’re identifiable by their smooth corner weld design and are the perfect choice for period property renovations, but equally add style and character to contemporary properties.
Available in a range of different colours and styles such as Flush Sash and Standard Casement, they also have fully reversible windows depending on your project specifications.
We particularly liked the smooth style black UPVC profile as many homeowners install black aluminium bifolds or sliding doors but their budget doesn't stretch to aluminium windows as well, so with the smooth finish to the UPVC it gives the desired look of aluminium without the cost.
For example, you could install an aluminium bifold & then a Dekko black Infinity UPVC smooth profile for the neighbouring kitchen window and at first glance would see a seamless link. These Infinity windows have a lifespan of several decades, and their slimline profiles are durable with a low maintenance easy clean finish. And because they’re available with double or triple glazing, U-values as low as 1.0W/(m²K) can be achieved.
3. The Residence Door Collection by Apeer.
The new range is the most thermal efficient on the market with U-Values as low as 0.5W/(m²K) and is one “super chunky” door!
It includes 20 extraordinary double rebated designs to perfectly complement The Residence Window Collection including traditional, contemporary, and stable door designs. The door styles are very on trend and we love the heart shaped door design. The other door pictured showcases the on trend colour of the moment Chartwell Green All of the Residence Door Collection are quadruple glazed as standard with hand crafted decorative glass made by their in-house designers.
However, the real highlight that shows that Apeer really has got homeowners like you in mind, is the new inbuilt magnetic element that allows you to hang items on your door such as a Christmas wreath, without the risk of damage or invalidating any warranty.

4. Sheerline Classic Heritage Beaded Door.
It was Sheerline’s first time exhibiting at the show, so although we already purchase their range of products it was great to see their latest reveal.
This one too has to be John’s favourite! It has been designed to reflect the look of 20th century slim steel doors & features a period-inspired lock design.
The window gasket being hidden & the creation of thin transoms (the horizontal part of the window) making them look as thin as possible to get as close to the design of traditional Crittal doors.
Sheerline are at the forefront of design & compliance, therefore, as with all the Classic range, the door is Part L compliant (Conservation of Fuel & Power: providing guidance for energy efficiency measures of residential buildings). Offers U Values as low as 1.4W/(m²K) with double glazing, which is equivalent of an A+ Door Energy Rating.
These doors are an external option and will be available to order from August 2023 to go along with our new Internal options being installed into the showroom this summer!
5. Sheerline Prestige Bi-folds.
We also love these Prestige bi-folds from Sheerline that enable you to open up and transform your home and let you enjoy your indoor and outdoor space as one.
Combining the refined, architectural look of aluminium and the latest thermal and security technology, leaving you with beautifully balanced bi-folding doors.
And these doors also have amazing U-values with their Double glazed option offering a 1.4W/(m²K) U-value and if you opt for triple glazed a U-value of 1.0W/(m²K can be achieved.
