Unlike the majority of the industry, here at Kettell Windows we have chosen to employ almost all our fitters & use a select few, highly skilled self-employed contractors. This ensures that our team members can take sufficient time to complete our customers' installations from start to finish & also continually improve skill levels across the profiles & brands we choose. This in turn has meant that many of our team have been with us for many years. All the team bring a wealth of experience & skills, from stained glass work to plastering. We are biased, but believe we have the best fitters in Leicestershire.
A member of the team will be available each day of the event to answer any questions on how they work & we are working on showcasing how the team trim & finish the windows and doors.Showroom Event
Shaun attended our last event to offer further support on all things finance.
Im Shaun Newton from Shermin Finance, im based in Yorkshire and I support home improvement retailers. I have been in the finance industry for over 20 years, and with Shermin Finance for just over 18 months.
Shermin Finance are the largest regulated finance broker working within the UK’s home improvement sector. We specialising in linking retails and lender together, and then we insure that the products and services that are offered by retailers to their customers are relevant and sold correctly. My main focus is making sure retailers are following the rules set out by the Finance Conduct Authority (FCA) and are conducting themselves according.
Believe it or not, it’s a very hard process for a retailer to have an finance facility. Lenders will only work with the correct retailers, that focus on creating “good customer outcomes” and that they have able to demonstrate a high level of proficiency in their field. Having a finance facility for any high ticket item products is an essential tool to help support customers who might have not savings, or the relevant amount to purchase new windows and doors, this is where Shermin Finance can support Kettell Windows customers in spreading the cost of their purchase. Kettell have a fantastic Buy Now Pay Later option, so why not purchase today and not start paying for your goods until 2024.
I will be around all day on Saturday if anybody has any questionsFinancing Options
Ben recently celebrated his 1 year work anniversary with Kettell, but the way he has fitted into the team it feels like he has always been with us. He genuinely holds the same values as we do at Kettell: No pressure sales, expert knowledge & a desire to deliver what you the homeowner really want. Even if that is 13 versions of a Front Door (although please try to be a bit more decisive).
"My favourite product is our timber alternative range of Flush windows. They are a great example of how far the industry has come and it’s always nice to see the look on customers faces who have perhaps been putting off replacing their original timber windows for fear of not being able to find a suitable/sympathetic replacement, when they see them for the first time and realise just how authentic looking they really are!"
He also adds:
"My favourite thing about the job is getting to meet so many different people and giving them the information and advice needed to help transform their home. Hearing from a happy customer and seeing the finished result at the end of the process is the most satisfying part of the job."
Ben's Top Tips when considering Door & Window replacement are:
1. Establish your priorities and what is most important to you and shape your decision making around these choices; Is it Energy Efficiency, Security, Aesthetics, Noise reduction or allowing more light into your home?
2. What style of window/door best suits your house? Choosing the right material and design is key to the overall look of your house.
3. What materials best suit your budget and lifestyle? Some materials and window types are obviously more expensive than others. Design is a major contributing factor to the overall cost of your windows and doors so it’s important to consider style versus practicality and what will best suit the look of your house and your needs as the homeowner. Finding a balance between style and substance is the ideal.
4. You don’t always need to make drastic alterations to get the result you’re looking for! Sometimes the smallest changes can make a big difference to the overall appearance of your house.
"Our last event was a great success, there was a real buzz around the showroom and so I am looking forward to this one & showcasing the new products we have on display.
I genuinely care about trying to achieve the best result possible for each and every customer whether it’s one solitary window being replaced or a full house. I’m relaxed and friendly in my approach and I like to think this helps to put customers at ease and make the process an enjoyable one rather than stressful. This attitude is mirrored by Kettell. The family values and no-pressure approach combined with our reputation for quality and customer satisfaction is something we can all be proud of. I look forward to meeting you."

HG Interior Design is based in rural south Leicestershire and is run by Aimee Gautier who studied at The Interior Design Institute in London graduating in 2021.
"I love creating beautiful spaces, it’s been my absolute passion since around the age of 10 when I was constantly online creating homes or rearranging my bedroom.
My niche is Rustic, Modern Farmhouse and Industrial interiors and I adore these styles because they all include stripped-back elements that emphasise woods, metals and natural fabrics.
I work with clients across Leicestershire to create their dream homes."
Aimee has been busy at Kettell creating an area within our showroom space that she will be finishing off & sharing the design process with you at our event on Saturday 30th Sept between 10am-4pm.HG Interiors
